Mrs Maxine T , a Masters Graduate in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Michigan, School of Music, is a patient and dedicated piano teacher of 16 yrs experience. In these 16 years, she has fostered many young pianists and Music Majors. Having been under the tutelage of an eminent faculty with John Ellis, Kelley Benson and Martin E. Katz , she became a Lecturer for the ' The Piano Pedagogy Laboratory Program (PPLP) ' in the University of Michigan, the School of Music, giving lessons and masterclasses to many young pianists.
Mrs T was an avid adjudicator and performer; having been an ensemblist in the MOZART SALZBURGER FESTSPIELE and having collaborated with many renowned soloists in ticketing events; among which are award winning vocalists Stella Chou and Anna Khor
Today, she is dedicating all her time to naturing local young pianists and Music Majors, and these are her thoughts about Music~
Music is unspoken thoughts and emotions, and to understand music, is to understand another's thoughts and emotions.
One who comprehends another's thoughts is of higher intellectual order, and one who empathizes another's emotions is of much love.
Music shapes the person. The Art of understanding and expressing another's unspoken feelings brings much refinement and integrity to one's character, and a family with Music, is always a family with joy, understanding and Love
To learn Music, is to learn Love; and to share music, is to share Love
A child who loves music has much understanding and expectation of self, and does not sway from the right path
He has love, patience and courage. He sets his goals and he attains

Learning Music is not about certification. It is NOT about how fast you can get to the end either

Music is, in all its worth, a lifelong journey of learning how to be a better person

She is primarily teaching Grade 5 to Fellowship diplomas. But if you really have the passion, or a kid who genuinely loves music, She is always willing to share
